Sign in and select a project
Load your team's recording rules and configured destinations.
Sign in to use a project assigned to your Fairlead account. Local recording remains available through Continue without an account.
Connect through the browser
Section titled “Connect through the browser”- Open Recorder. If you are recording locally, select Sign in.
- Select Connect via browser.
- Complete the Fairlead sign-in flow in the tab that opens.
- Return to Recorder and select the assigned project you need.
Check the project before starting: it determines capture rules and available destinations. Save existing local evidence before resetting to start a project recording.
Use a one-time token
Section titled “Use a one-time token”If your team uses connection tokens, obtain one from Control Plane, paste it into One-time token, and select Connect. Use a fresh token if the previous one expired or was already redeemed. Do not paste tracker credentials into this field.
Check project availability
Section titled “Check project availability”If Recorder says no profile is available, ask your Fairlead administrator to assign one. Signing in alone does not create a project or grant access to every project.
Administrators manage project domains, redaction rules, storage, and tracker destinations in Control Plane. Recorder loads that configuration; it is not a local project editor.
Reconnect after expiry
Section titled “Reconnect after expiry”Browser restart or an expired account session can require sign-in again. If a request rejects your session, reconnect and confirm the selected project before retrying.
A recording retains the context it had when started. Signing in after starting a local recording does not convert it into a connected session. See Local recording and connected projects and connection troubleshooting.
