# Recorder permissions

Recorder uses browser debugging to collect network and console evidence, website access to capture actions, and local storage and downloads to preserve artifacts. It also requests permissions for navigation, tabs, scripting, the side panel, clipboard images and connected account workflows.

Broad host access supports capture across pages and frames. Project capture rules limit recorded evidence; they do not restrict connected correlation-header destinations. Review content before sharing, since automatic redaction does not cover all data.
