Use your project's report destination and check independent submission results.

Connected projects can store a session report in their configured Data Plane and request report enhancement. The project must permit recorded-data storage.

## Confirm the destination

Select the project before recording. Its Data Plane may be local, private, or cloud, as configured by your administrator. Confirm that the destination is appropriate for the evidence, then [review the data](https://fairleadhq.com/docs/recorder/review-redaction/).

A local account-free download saves files on your computer. It does not perform this project upload.

## Store the report

After stopping and reviewing the recording, select **Send data** in the side panel to upload the current report without creating or updating an issue. Check the upload result. If storage fails, resolve the reported error and retry **Send data**.

Issue submission also attempts report storage after the issue command and screenshot attachments. Review the storage result separately from the tracker result. After a successful upload through that submission flow, subsequent submissions in the same view skip storage. Later edits are not automatically synchronized; use **Send data** to send the current report again.

If the issue succeeds and report storage fails, keep the issue reference and resolve the storage error. Do not recreate the issue to repair its stored-session evidence. Ask your administrator to check destination availability and authorization before a storage retry.

## Request enhancement

After stopping, select **Enhance with AI** in the side panel when available. In the local viewer, use **Improve → Rewrite with AI** in Description. This explicitly sends report content through the project's configured Data Plane enhancement service.

Review the proposed text against the actual evidence. Correct unsupported causes, missing preconditions, and inaccurate outcomes before using it in an issue. Select **Stop enhancing** to cancel an in-progress request; cancellation does not retract data already sent.

## Understand disabled storage

When **Save recorded data in Data Plane** is disabled for the project, report upload, enhancement, and [reproduction-step generation](https://fairleadhq.com/docs/recorder/steps-and-events/#generate-user-steps) are unavailable. Issue commands and screenshot attachments may still be sent through the configured tracker connection.

## Verify the handoff

Check the issue, attachment, and storage results individually. Open the stored session from Control Plane when available. A successful issue submission alone does not establish successful report storage.
